Bringing in a Load
- Sort your load. Keep metals separated by type and CRV containers apart from non-CRV glass. Sorted loads weigh faster and pay better.
- Pull in during open hours. Monday to Saturday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. PT. Our staff will direct you to the scale.
- Get weighed and paid. We weigh on a certified scale and you get a ticket showing the weight and rate.
Bring a valid photo ID. California law requires it for scrap metal sales, and non-ferrous sales also need a thumbprint and photo.
Setting Up a Business Account
- Tell us about the material. Send the form or call with your business name, what you generate, and roughly how much.
- Talk to a real person. We reply within 1 business day to size the service to your site or production line.
- Get a program that runs itself. Roll-off containers or scheduled pickups, weight tickets on every load, and EPA-compliant refrigerant and destruction paperwork.

Do I need an appointment to drop off scrap?
No. Walk-in loads are welcome Monday to Saturday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. PT. For large commercial loads, roll-off drops, or anything that needs equipment to unload, call ahead so the yard and scale are ready.
What do I need to bring?
A valid government-issued photo ID. California law requires it for scrap metal transactions, and non-ferrous sales also require a thumbprint and a photo of you and the material. See the payment and ID rules.
Why don't you post scrap prices online?

What can't you accept?
Hazardous waste, sealed or pressurized containers, items still holding liquids, and anything radioactive. Appliances with refrigerant go through our appliance recycling program. Not sure? Call before you load it.
